Here’s a video house tour of interior decorator Laura Dobbins’ personal home in Rivercamps in Panama City Beach, Florida. Dobbins designed both the exterior and interior of the house.

The interior was designed to be natural and as minimal as possible to focus on the views of the pine forest, deer, and other wildlife. And the exterior’s color was purposely chosen to fit in with the bark of the pine trees. Due to the wetlands nearby, the house was built on stilts, which allows for a fun game area underneath — a bar room for darts, cornhole, and fireplace.

“Rivercamps is a subdivision designed to look like an old Florida fish camp,” says Dobbins. “We have deer roaming freely in our yards, alligators, occasional bears, and bobcats. In our neighborhood, there are hiking trails along the marshes, fishing, and camping. This home has been my dream design for several years.”
