Happy Holidays!

For our last post of 2019, we’re excited to share some holiday styling of a home from the Newcomers Club of New Canaan’s Holiday House Tour.  Above is one of New Canaan, Connecticut’s most prominent and beloved historic homes. This 1898-built stucco Colonial is more than 120 years old and rich in history. Coined “The Caroling Inn,” this lovingly preserved three-story home with columned wraparound porch welcomes you before you even step through the gates of its white picket fence.

Classic, Traditional Feel

Styled by Lillian August and their team of designers, Cindy Levi and Terrance Rhodes, the home has a classic, traditional feel. They used fresh eucalyptus, with its soft silver blue hues, throughout the interior because it’s clean and aromatic as well as a perfect complement to the color palette in the home. The designers also incorporated the family’s own decorations, feeling it’s an important aspect to any holiday celebration.

The table is styled with dinnerware and glassware by Juliska with flowers by Floral and Landscape Designs by Rhodes.

Enjoy your holidays with family and friends! We will see you in 2020!
