We are always looking for new inspiration and beautiful design to share with our community. Submit your work for the annual Your Modern Cottage Design Awards for a chance to have your great design recognized!

How to Submit an Entry:
Purchase an Entry: Click the link to add an entry submission to your cart and complete the purchase.
*Please note, this registration is valid for 1 project entry. If you’d like to submit multiple projects, please add multiple registrations to cart.
Receive Submission Details: After purchasing, you'll receive a PDF containing a link to a Google Form for submitting your entry, as well as a photograph release form that must be signed by the photographer.
Submit Your Entry: Complete the Google Form, including Project Information, Project Architect, Project Summary and upload up to 10 supported files (max 10 MB per file).

Categories:
1. Best Small Modern Cottage
This category celebrates new modern cottages that are small and efficient but still accommodate a very comfortable, modern lifestyle. Cottages in this category will be capped at 1,600 square feet
2. Best New Modern Cottage
Houses designed to take us away from the modern rush. These homes provide a retreat for the families that gather there, and provide a place where they can reconnect with each other. Size of homes can range, but should be no more than 4,800 square feet.
2. Best Modern Cottage Renovation / Addition
Houses specifically altered, adapted, and renovated for the families living within them. These designs transform a mundane house and turn it into something special.
The Your Modern Cottage Design Awards program recognizes home designs that reflect our three principles of great residential design:
Homes designed for the uniqueness of the clients.
Homes built for today and the future.
Homes that are a retreat from the complexities of our world.
Special note: Your Modern Cottage believes that modern is not a design style, but a lifestyle. Therefore, we welcome designs of all styles and will judge projects based on how they respond to our design principles.
Registration for award submissions close May 1, 2025. All winning projects will be published on our website and throughout our social media channels.
